Baby Brooke

What is it about a newborn? I could sit and stare at Brooke Lauryn all day long! And she has the same effect on people when we're in public as well. There's just something so special about a tiny, little life.

We took Brooke to the doctor yesterday for a check-up. We were happy to know that she gained three whole ounces! So she now weighs in at 5 pounds and 12 ounces. She's still just so tiny that it amazes me. (Especially when I remember how big my tummy was!) I'm wondering. . . . . Will I feel compelled to take pictures of her every time we change her outfit? Will it ever feel old, this feeding her and holding her? I hope not!

I wonder. . . . . Does she know how much I already love her?

    You have a sweet baby girl. I can assure you it doesnt wear off. I have at least 10,000 pics of my kids on CDs. I am picture crazy.

    Congratulations!! I am so excited for you that she is here. She is BEAUTIFUL and I would love to hold her! Take care of yourself as you are taking care of her and your men! :D

    She is just beautiful. Isn't it so much fun just getting her dressed? I just loved all those pretty frilly little dresses. Congratulations, again!
