He Flies Through the Air With the Greatest of Ease. . .

. . . . The flying trapeze!!!!!!!!!

(I've had many questions about these pictures. There is no trampoline. This is just Dad and the boys.)

My Cole Boy

We almost had a deluge this afternoon! The rain was coming down very hard. Cole just couldn't resist playing out there (in his winter boots, no less!). He would just stand there and feel the rain come down. He was having the best time, and was literally soaked within two minutes. Now for all you faint-hearted -- don't worry! It was a warm rain. :)

No More Teachers, No More Books. . . .!

Yesterday was the last day of the school year for Trevor and David. Wow! It's hard to believe that we've lived here almost a year, and that David has one year of school under his belt. Last night was our graduation service and awards ceremony. Trevor got several awards - which didn't surprise this proud momma at all! He got one trophy for Scripture memory. He was on the A Honor Roll all year. He also got a big trophy for finishing the most Paces in the elementary grades. Trevor did 103 Paces total! That's a lot. His last trophy was for the highest Pace average. He actually tied with another girl in our elementary school for this honor, with an average of 98%.
First the kids walked in to the tune of "Onward Christian Soldiers."

Getting some well-deserved awards:

They Couldn't Make It

Poor Castrejon family! It took them 8 hours to get to our home, in what should've been a 4 hour trip! My boys were so excited for them to get here, and we just didn't know what was taking so long. As you can see, Cole and Logan sacked out in the living room while we were waiting for our company to get here.

Sunday morning with Uncle Willie

Alyssa with her Uncle Dave

Lawn Mower Rides

Of course a trip to Uncle Dave's farm wouldn't be complete without some lawn mower rides! So the kids took turns and had fun joy-riding on the farm! They loved it -- until they had to get off!

Cousins

It was nice to have the cousins together to play and of course - for photo ops! They had great fun with Uncle Dave and his wheelbarrow rides. All five of the kids fit in there for a few trips down the dirt lane.

More of the Farm

Down At the Farm

On Memorial Day my niece's wish was to see the cows on the farm. We went to a neighbor's farm and the kids got to bottle feed the calves. They loved it. Those bottles were huge and some of them needed help holding them up! As big as those bottles were, it didn't take those calves long to gobble the milk up.

Company

We had company in town for the weekend. (Which explains why I have been MIA lately!) David's sister and her family came for a visit. It was SO much fun to have them and so nice to see them. Here are a few shots of their visit.

First Look at Logan's Birthday

Here's a first look of Logan when he came downstairs on his birthday Sunday morning. As he was coming down the stairs he could see the balloons and streamers and went straight to have a look at his birthday. We let him open one gift in the morning before we headed to church, and finished our celebration in the afternoon. He was so excited to be having a birthday.

Happy Birthday Logan

Sunday was Logan's third birthday! Wow! The time has sure flown and he has been such a blessing in our lives. We're so thankful God gave him to us. He's just very special. Here are a few pictures from our celebration for you to enjoy.

Ready To Go

Here's Logan Saturday at the soccer game. He had to put Dad's glasses on before we could go and watch the games.

A Sneak Peak

We've been working on the baby's room lately and it's just been nice to go in there and sit and enjoy the pretty pinkness of everything. Here's some of what we've accomplished so far, although I still have a couple of walls to decorate and some shelves to paint.
