Logan Joseph

My Logan is a joy to have around. He is all boy, that one! He is the singer in the family. He is often walking around singing a song from his Sunday School class. I just love to hear his little voice singing those tunes.

Cole Patrick

I've enjoyed watching Cole bond with his new sister. Even as I type this, he is in her room talking to her and keeping her company. I love knowing that he has a soft spot for Brooke, and I hope their bond just grows stronger through the years. I am going to be Cole's kindergarten teacher this year, and I think it will be a wonderful challenge. He's already pretty smart (I know I'm his mom, but I can brag, right?!?!) so I am hoping the school year is a great one for him - and an easy one for me!

Trevor David

This summer is going by quickly and Trevor is about to start second grade. He is great at Bible memory. It does not take him long to learn a verse, and that makes me so proud. Trevor loves his bike and spends a lot of time riding it and doing tricks down our hill. He is such a strong boy and a good helper to me. It's hard to believe that he is almost 8 years old. It doesn't seem that long ago that he was our only little bundle of joy!

Can you guess what Trevor wants for Christmas?

Getting ready to go

Ethan checking out Baby Brooke.

Is he sleeping or faking it?!?!

Some of the cousins stopped for a last pose.

That wasn't even all the Legos!

Bedford County Fair

We went with Bill & Kat to family day at the Bedford County Fair. It cost only $5 per person and all the rides were included in that price! Not a bad deal. Here are a bunch of random pictures from the fair. The kids had a great time on all the rides. . . well, on most of them! Ha!
In this picture you can see all the cousins and the two dads:

Yes! That's me! I couldn't let the kids have all the fun.

Cutie Patootie

Cousins

This week we are lucky to have my husband's brother and his family here for a visit. Bill, Katharine, Kit & Ethan made it to our house Saturday morning, after driving all night long from Indiana! What a trip! We're so glad they've come and have already had a good time picnicking & playing. Tonight we're going to a country fair and doing some fireworks.

Junior Choir

The junior choir sang Sunday night and I recorded Trevor's special verse. He and his friend Caleb sang a duet on the song, "He's My Friend."
And here is the best part of the choir:

Random Pictures

Here are some pictures of Brooke I took Sunday night. She is wearing the "It's a Girl!" dress. To explain myself. . . . that is the dress David and I bought the day we found out we were havng a girl. She can finally fit into the dress, although it's a tad big on the shoulders. She was just so pretty on Sunday!

Brooke loves her bath time. This morning Daddy was giving her a bath and she was just quietly enjoying the warm water and attention. Doesn't she just look delighted to be there?

Of all our children, Cole shows the most interest in his new sister. The other day he put her hand on the toy of her bouncy seat, and was delighted when she pulled on that string! He had so much fun "playing" with our Brooke.
