Petting Zoo

Today the Piney Creek Greenhouse had a petting zoo. There were goats, sheep, a rabbit and a calf. We went after the soccer games and the boys had a blast feeding the goats. At first Logan didn't even want to go in the fence. Then David lifted him into the pen and Logan got pretty nervous around those big goats. He was not a happy camper! By the end of the time, Logan probably would've sat on one if given the chance! All the boys really enjoyed it.

(Yes, in case you're wondering -- now even more than ever before, David wants to get a goat!)

  1. goats are fun. we had twin baby goats Jack and Jill about four or five years ago. Jill was all white and jack was black and brown. They are good pets. We would let our grass grow tall in the back yard and it kept them very busy.

  2. Well, don't go buy one, just come get Sarah! She is kid friendly, pretty cute as far as goats go and she is free. It doesn't get much better than that. I will be sure to call tonight when Dave is home and let him know.
