My Cole Boy
We almost had a deluge this afternoon! The rain was coming down very hard. Cole just couldn't resist playing out there (in his winter boots, no less!). He would just stand there and feel the rain come down. He was having the best time, and was literally soaked within two minutes. Now for all you faint-hearted -- don't worry! It was a warm rain. :)
No More Teachers, No More Books. . . .!
Yesterday was the last day of the school year for Trevor and David. Wow! It's hard to believe that we've lived here almost a year, and that David has one year of school under his belt. Last night was our graduation service and awards ceremony. Trevor got several awards - which didn't surprise this proud momma at all! He got one trophy for Scripture memory. He was on the A Honor Roll all year. He also got a big trophy for finishing the most Paces in the elementary grades. Trevor did 103 Paces total! That's a lot. His last trophy was for the highest Pace average. He actually tied with another girl in our elementary school for this honor, with an average of 98%.

They Couldn't Make It
Poor Castrejon family! It took them 8 hours to get to our home, in what should've been a 4 hour trip! My boys were so excited for them to get here, and we just didn't know what was taking so long. As you can see, Cole and Logan sacked out in the living room while we were waiting for our company to get here.

Down At the Farm
On Memorial Day my niece's wish was to see the cows on the farm. We went to a neighbor's farm and the kids got to bottle feed the calves. They loved it. Those bottles were huge and some of them needed help holding them up! As big as those bottles were, it didn't take those calves long to gobble the milk up.

First Look at Logan's Birthday
Here's a first look of Logan when he came downstairs on his birthday Sunday morning. As he was coming down the stairs he could see the balloons and streamers and went straight to have a look at his birthday. We let him open one gift in the morning before we headed to church, and finished our celebration in the afternoon. He was so excited to be having a birthday.
Happy Birthday Logan
